Seems Michelin-starred restaurants opening in Manila are all the rage these days.
Was it just last December that Tsuta, the first Michelin-starred Japanese Ramen Shop opened in BGC?
Thanks to Foodee Global Concepts, Kam’s Roast a Michelin-starred restaurant in Hong Kong opened yesterday May 15 in SM Megamall Fashion Hall Level 3 . Yay! Lucky us! No need to fly to HK when the craving for Kam’s Roast hits.
A world renowned brand, Kam’s Roast boasts a culinary heritage that spans 3 quarters of a century. Third gen Mr. Hardy Kam from the family that started Yung Kee Restaurant, founded Kam’s Roast together with Mr. Robert Chua a notable TV and Movie producer in HK.

Per Mr. Eric Dee COO of FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS,
“Our goal quite literally is to give Filipinos a taste of the most delectable flavors around the world that can be found around the world. We’re proud to add KAM’S ROAST to our mix of dining concepts and look forward to giving Filipinos more options that will delight their discerning palates without needing to hop on a plane.”
Indeed the Philippines is lucky to have another Michelin-starred restaurant in its midst. Saves us a lot on plane fares and airbnb bills.
Overall a delicious experience for this Kam’s Roast first timer. Although the family had been to HK several times , we have yet to try the original Kam’s Roast Goose in Wan Chai.
Note that per Mr. Eric Dee, goose is not part of the menu as yet
Indeed the long wait is over. Welcome to Manila Kam’s Roast! I can not wait to eat your succulent and delectable soya chicken, roast duck , suckling pig and Toro Charsiu again
Definitely returning with the piggery in tow.
Kam’s Roast is located at the 3rd Level of SM Mega Fashion Hall in Ortigas.
