The competition to get a slice of the metro’s milk tea market became more intense with the entry of the number 1 milk tea brand from Bangkok.
Fire Tiger, originating from the country popularly known as The Land of Smiles just landed at BHS and is an exciting addition to the roster of brands peddling the popular bubble tea beverage.
Fire Tiger is one among other food brands ie Bench Cafe, Maisen , St. Mark’s Cafe , Marugame by Bench Suyen Corporation.
Last Friday, we enjoyed the following…
There are 4 variants of two types – The Milk Tea and The Milk. The Crown and The Fire Tiger Milk Tea P170 contain tea. Fire Tiger Milk P150 and The Majesty P160 are without tea.
The Crown ‘s ingredients from top to bottom are brown sugar jelly, black sugar bubble, milk tea, black sugar syrup, creme brulee with crispy black sugar on top which I thought at first glance were choco chips.
Fire Tiger Milk Tea P150 on the other hand has similar ingredients except that you have torched brown sugar on top in lieu of crispy black sugar.
The Majesty P160 which is the most popular, was the first variant I tried. Interestingly enough , its a milk drink with black sugar bubble followed by pudding at the bottom, then black sugar syrup and mixed milk on the middle layer and crispy cheese and creme cheese on the first layer. Then garnished with cheese on top
Fire Tiger Milk P150 is almost the same as its Milk Tea counterpart except it has mixed milk instead of milk tea as one of the elements.
Overall, quite enjoyed the black sugar bubble which were delightfully chewy. My personal favorite is The Majesty. Loved the contrast of the salty vis a vis the sweet .
Fire Tiger is located at B2 Bonifacio High Street where Pablo’s used to be.
