There is a new kid on the block which opened last October 26 in Glorietta. Called BBX. it is the brainchild of the group that brought us Fowl Bread, Beefier, Bad Bird, Wrong Ramen to name a few.
Asked what the acronym BBX means and what it is all about , here is what Eli Uy (Director for Marketing) has to say..

Open and casual with an order counter on the right and an open / ‘show’ kitchen adjacent to it.
The facade of BBX is predominantly black-purple-white. Interiors however are lighter and brighter with mostly pastel colors echoing all shades of purple. Check out the fun mural on your left as you enter. Mirrors help to create the illusion of space.
The ledge on the counter of the open kitchen serves as a condiment-cutlery-drinking area where you can get your tissues, spoon-fork-knife, tall crystal glasses for water, ice box and sauces. I love that they even have boxes for those who want to take out their meal

Made my day when I saw greens in their menu. This one is called Garlic Sesame Chicken Salad P230 and a great way to start your meal. Lettuce were crisp and perfectly seasoned.
Yes aside from the main star of the show which is chicken, BBX also makes a mean burger. This one is Cheese Burger P199. Bread was fresh, patty was meaty though a bit on the thin size. Overall a great mouthfeel. Beef was really flavorful and lettuce and pickles were a great addition. Felt like I was eating healthy haha
Shying away from meat? Dont fret. BBX has their Crispy Fish Sandwich P245 to offer to you. Fish had a crunchy exterior contrasting beautifully with its flaky interior
LEA SANDWICH P159 more your cup of tea? I know this is mine. That is Longganisa, Egg and Atchara Sandwich . The Longganisa is sweet and flat unlike the tube-like shape we are more familiar with. This would be a perfect brunch meal.
Talk about affordable!
This Fried Chicken Plate is only P179 would you believe? You have a choice between ‘safe’ or spicy. Want your chicken boneless? Just add P20 and the server will bring you the boneless variant
Remember the LEA Sandwich earlier? This one is the longsilog version. They call it Longganisa and Egg P229
Spring Rolls 5 pcs P189 you like? It comes with rice and atchara. You can also order it sans rice.

The Open Kitchen
I have a mind to remodel my kitchen echoing BBX’s design. I love how the flow of activity is seamless and how organized the counter is. No need to call the attention of the server.Everything is within reach. Plus achieved a couple of thousand steps simply by returning to the counter to get cutlery, napkins , glass of water, etc. They even have cute take out boxes ready just in case you want to bring home your unfinished food.
The Price
Value for money considering the quality of the food. P175 for a Fried Chicken with rice order is a steal!
The Food
Do order their cheeseburger, fried chicken meals and longganisa burger. Really good!
Definitely returning with the handsome hubby and piggery in tow.
